I found out my school offers Russian classes. Should i take them? I was planning on taking Japanese as i was planning on moving to Japan but i dont think i am anymore. So what do you all think?

we're back to this pancake?

anywho, i think your time could be better spent learning spanish or a language more common in america than russian.

Russian is very difficult. You'd have to read it on a scholar's level to read lenin and trotsky in russian. BUT if you do learn it at that level you'll be able to read some of trotsky that has never been published in english, which means you'll get to read more than me! o.O

Internet has helped me inmensely while learning English and Russian. I'd say I've acquired 40-50% of my English language proficiency through internet not to say that I have acquired probably 60% of my english vocabulary here. I'd say the same for Russian.

In order to properly know a language you must know how to write, read and speak on that language. And in the case of spanish, writting is quite important.

"Si" does not mean the same as "sí"; "Cómo" does not mean the same as "como"; "Reportó" does not mean the same as "reporto".
