Alright so how do you guys want to do this?
Here is a rough draft of points I want to hit:

-Permanent Revolution vs. Two-stage stalinism
-Bureaucratic degeneration of USSR
-The Kulaks
-The ICL
-State capitalism vs. Degenerated Workers' State
-What is a workers' state
-The current condition of china
-The Russian Revolution
-Workers' Vanguards
and probably more

-The topics will likely blend together a certain degree but I want to have a focus on each topic.
-I will likely quote the book "The Revolution Betrayed" at length and I suggest getting a copy if you can.
-I really just want those interested in trotskyism to post on the class topics and hope that those interested in polemics and debating will bring up their points in a separate topic for me to get to

IMPORTANT POINT
-Ideally we could hold these classes in chat rooms so if you have Instant messenger and are interested in the class.

Otherwise, please post the best day for the first class which will likely focus on Trotsky's theory of permanent revolution

I will need smooth cooperation for this class to thrive and succeed. After my class point on these days I will either open up the floor for questions and discussion in the topic/ chat room but will only respond to well thought out questions.

Again, I hope that debates and polemics will be held outside of the class topics

explane it. i thout that perm rev menes that rusia can go from fedual to socialite in one rev. do the stalinites not beleaf the same? i thout stalin was trying to make it socialite?
