I watched the movie Slumdog millionaire. It is a very moving story and brings us closer to the horrible life of street children.

And yet those kids are back on the streets now.

Yes, they've been given large funds, but they can't access them unti 18, ad the one kid's home's been torn down. Fortunately he' been put in in a nice hotel by the government.

I remember when i lived in China. There were beggers as far as the eye could see.

in Africa when parents are going to die, they split everything up to their sons, so if they got 10 sons, and about 10 square kilometers of land, then the sons get 1 square kilometer of land each, to crops on. but then when the sons die and they maybe also got 10 sons each, they split up the 1 square kilometer of land into 10, and that keeps going so they starve. but in europe in middle age, then the oldest son got all the land, the other sons maybe just got a wheelbarow or somehting and a cat, like the story about the cat with boots.

Because they are muslim and have hard time getting wealthy in a region where theyr religion is outnumbered... but thats just a guess
