think of it this way

it'd be like if you worried about a girl you didn't like that liked you

you don't say "GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM ME"

you tactfully let them down easy...

Damn Shabazz, that girl in the second picture is almost as cute as you, haha. But seriously, did you get her number? She's gorgeous.

Me too! I felt very awkward when seeing two men kiss. (two girls kissing was hot in a way)

I was homophobic until I found out that some of my friends were gay.
And one day one of them showed me the following movie and somehow I can accept that now. Not homophobic anymore.

PS: nice photos shabazz!

It all started to make sence

lolercaust. XD I have a gay friend too. And just like others, I used to be extreme homophobic until I (somehow) became more accepting of that friend.

Well, I remember a funny story. He used to date a guy and I remember the two of them kissing in the library. I didn't think too much of it really. But I remember laughing a little bit to myself. XD After they broke up (sorta, Iunoo), I asked my friend if the guy he dated was really gay.

Funny thing too. He said I had more chance of being gay than him!

In my experience gay people are really nice -

They dont seem tied down to the constraints of the 'manish' persona which is cool because its total B/S Very Happy

Oh no Oh no. I was the mean one for a bit. I apologized to him later. So it's all good. ^^

And yeah, that's sure true. "Manish" persona ist total "capitalist" bull. At least, IMO. Razz

I'm straight, but I have no real problem with gays either. I'm grossed out a little if I see two guys kiss, but other than that, they're ok with me.

I'm almost appalled that this didn't happen sooner, especially in a progressive state like California.

I'm disgusted that there hasn't been federal action undertaken to make gay and transgender marriages legal nationwide. Not that I'm surprised that Bush hasn't made such a move, but still.

Bah, I'll set my negativity aside for now. This is a great moment for progressive politics.

thirds...
True tolerance is neither neglect neither favorize a certain group
If you treat a homosexual as any other group e. g: makes jokes about him, not to favorize him... just treat him as a guy next door then THAT is true tolerance
Being mean to him is possible
But the reason should be equal as the reason why I am being mean to a straight guy
Because the certain person would be an asshole and I would dislike him

and thats why my little comment was bad and I hate myself but hey... I have a racist humour some times
sorry guy

OMG communist Whoopie Goldberg!!!! (Just kidding man Wink)

I defend homosexual people's rights to be homosexual and be treated equally as us straights, I'm not bothered to see two guys walking by the hand and, while it's a bit disgusting for me to see two guys kissing, well... I won't go against that.

But, what I go against is homosexual parades and flamboyant public demonstrations. In my view they should defend their rights looking and acting as what they are: normal people, public flamboyance is unnecesary, in my view.

You right. I'm bi, and I hate public homosexual flamboyance too.
And man, moderate gays don't need to act like normal people, they ARE normal people.

I have several homosexual and bisexual friends that dislike that flamboyance too, in my view this proves is not necesary nor helps your cause for equalty, in fact, several of them argue that such flamboyance hinders their cause by giving homosexuals/bisexuals a bad name and making straight people look at gays/bis as same-sex-fucking-gender-ambiguous clowns.

Exactly, that's what I'm talking about. But fellow homosexual clowns won't help on realizing this as I see it.
