Im sure you will like this Movie. this movie is one of my personal favorits. its about a guy named Maceath that lives in the victorian London. He is a criminal murder that got his own Gang, he falls in love with a beatiful woman in the streets one day and his life is about to change completly(this sounds like some american romantic comedy, but you will find out what happends) The movie is completly german, but dont worry, there are subtiles. Originaly it was a very popular play that our beloved Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill wrote and composed the extremly good music for. i think everyone in here will find the strong political topics intressting. 3 Penny Opera Die Dreigroschenoper directed by Pabst the movie is in 11 parts each ten minuts long.
Did you notice any actors that you recognize? Ernst Busch plays the streetsinger. also notice the extremly good filming, by far one of the greatest early black and white film with sound(voice). the filming looks like a modern film, the cuttings and so on.
please response to the video, tell what you liked about it. im very intressted to hear what you think! also you my friend zealot.
