| I suppose this is where this topic belongs. I just finished The Anti-Christ by Nietzsche Today i'll be reading The Fall by Albert Camus, my favorite author. This is his last work that i haven't read... No more Absurdism after this _________________ "A market economy must comprise all elements of industry including labor, land and money [...] But labor and land are no other than the human beings themselves of which every society consists and the natural surroundings in which it exists. | Well right now, I'm not reading anything from my own personal books - but the other day I was reading a bit of Thomas Paine. However, I'm reading a novel called Regeneration which is about a British officer who protests World War I and, as a result of this, is sent to a mental health hospital. Oh, and he gets electroshock therapy. Because, y'know, if you protest the war, then you're a crazy person. Pretty good so far, looking forward to finishing it by... Sunday? _________________ |

| Finished The Fall (badass) Now i'll be reading How Nonviolence Protects the State by Peter Gelderoos. I read Pacifism as Pathology by Ward Churchill not too long ago, and i was interested in reading more pertaining to nonviolence as revolutionary tactic. _________________ "A market economy must comprise all elements of industry including labor, land and money [...] But labor and land are no other than the human beings themselves of which every society consists and the natural surroundings in which it exists. If its possible. |
Most pre-revolution praxis is non-violent (building our organization). What these books are about is unwavering pacifism (that is, putting up zero physical resistance in the face of state violence, at home or abroad). _________________ "A market economy must comprise all elements of industry including labor, land and money [...] But labor and land are no other than the human beings themselves of which every society consists and the natural surroundings in which it exists.
