I don't know what to think about Lenin though. His NEP makes me question his socialisticity severly. After vanguardists can be geniune socialists,a sejust vanguardism is not socialist.

i just have a soft spot for him being a marxist-leninist for so long.
his elitism is infuriating though.

Lenin was in power a short time, and aside from the russain revolution, contributed almost nothing to the advancement of russia(still hes kewl)

stalin was a heavy hitter, indstrializing russia quickly and effectivly

kurshev was okay, not to much there

breznew also got things back to almost stalinism,

and grbachev did nothing at all(except start the dwon fall of russian socialism)

is that about right?

No. He simply increased military investments and catalysed the Soviet economic crisis.

Wrong. There was no socialism in USSR and Gorbachyov simly gave a final blow both to the Soviet economy and the social dictatorship.
