| | In The early 19th century German and French Communists who were starting radical riots Immigrated to the new state of Texas (which has just been captured from Mexico and was then its own country) One of the leaders moved his people to Texas and they began building there Communist village , but then they encountered a problem, a Problem that the Soviets discovered and this is what Reinhardt wrote in his journal " Since everyone was to work only if he pleased and when he pleased, the result was of course less and less work done as time progressed. Most of the professional men wanted to do the directing and ordering while the mechanics and laborers were to carry out their plans. Of course, the latter failed to see the justice of the ruling so no one did anything" and famine ensued because of there laziness and the society failed. Which is case and point of the ineffectiveness and flaws of communism. |

Communism was never stablished in the USSR nor anywhere else and thus any critic to its effectiveness is rendered nonfactual. In communism people do not work when they want to work, people have a schedule and goals to meet and in communism the one who having to work doesn't do it is repressed. |

I'm not questioning the factual accuracy of the story, I'm not denying it really happened. What I'm denying is that hose villages were communist.
In communism laziness is a crime, as simple as that. |

| | In real communism how do you keep people doing jobs like Sewer Cleaner. It is needed but noone wants to clean peoples poop and with no reason to do so they will not. In my opinion states like USSR and China are as close to Communism as you will get. |

First of all a socialist government changes the whole infrastructure. There would be even sewer administration. Even residual waters are useful for economy but of course people nowadays just prefer to throw them anywhere. New sewage systems would be developed which directly lead to treatment plants where all that nitrogen and phosphate rich waters be disposed as fertilizers and they'd be put to special pipes that allowed concetrations of its gases to use that as biofuel. Mantainance of that would be probably robotized.

They were not even close to communism. And I doubt history will end in a couple of years. (Or at least I hope so) |

What would happen is the government would create a Multi million dollar program, then they would release Press release claiming that they will do what they are supposed to do. Then they will need to file the paperwork that will come with the project, Red tape will ensue lengthening the project by years costing the people Millions probably billions of dollars, by then it would totally not be worth it. |

Many of those which may be carried out by robotic systems.

First of all, communism is not part of eastern philosofy per se. They called themselves things like "Communist Party of the USSR" or "Communist Party of the People's Republic of China" and that's why you would call them "commies". However, if you go to those nations even scholars will agree that there was no communism, and even party members would officially acknowledge they had not reached communism. And simply way in which those economies were factually lead demonstrates there was no communism, nor socialism, not even close enough.

To make such affirmation you'd have to know well when things are going to end and how, knowledges that you can hardly seriously claim to posses. |

What are you talking about? I thought we were talking about communism here...
Probably you meant a commuinist government would do something like that? Well in case you meant that, for an instance, there's no money in communism. |

| | I doubt this ever happened. If people were hungry in a village, they would simply leave it and go to another village. No one would have died. |

Let me see if I understand what you imply.
Either you imply that there has been communism and it has also employed money. - If you implied this, you're wrong. There has never been communism. And communism doesn't employ money.
Or you imply that since money has existed "since the dawn of man" it can't dissapear. - If you implied this, you're wrong again. It's matter of simply creating the necesary infrastructure and legislation that make money unnecesary. |

| Zealot you can say that communism never existed but it has through out history, the truth dictates that. _________________ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Capitalism is the unequal sharing of blessings , socialism is the equal sharing of miseries - Winston Churchill |

It's quite easy just to go around making statements like that without a single arguement.
There has been no communism since communism doesn't employ money or trade within the communist society. In a communist society all resources' production and distribution are managed on state and based on the satisfaction of necesities. No market laws, no trade, no money, no stores.
If a country that claims to be communist employs money it's not communist. If a country that claims to be communist emloys consumerism, it's not communist. |

People are selfish, greedy and ignorant history has tought us this.
