because cuba is a horrible country and the US should not associate with them. maybe the people will rise up against oppression and cuba will be good nation, then the US can trade with them.

and since when did one countries Immorality/Corruption EVER mattered to Americans? As Long as they can steal from Cuba there all cool with it.
