blue for freedom
red for (blood?)
and white for peace

I think a few othere cuntryes use the same coulurs france, Nlands and Iceland thoug here it reprisents the ocean, volcanoes and the ice caps.

red is just the new russian national coulor .red white and blue are common Slavic colors.
