This just complicates the arguement for evolution. If someone asked you "If we came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?" you couldn't just say "We didn't. We came from ape-like creatures." Or "We came from apes."

Then again, I think this says we're monkeys. I still think it would be hard for someone to get comfortable with saying "We didn't just come from monkeys, we are monkeys!!!"

It's a good thing I stay out of these arguments/debates altogether.
