| I made new lyrics for the national anthem of USA, once it will become socialist. With the old music, but with new lyrics:
BANNER OF PEACE
Oh say can you see by the dawns early light, what proudly we hailed at the twilights last gleaming.
Our great democratic socialist motherland! For equality freedom and eternal peace!
Our international solidarity and socialist friendship Our immortal ideal.
Our Banner of peace will always wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave
Use the following link for the music: http://youtube.com/watch?v=i426pbQJZ_g
I think socialists and communists in USA will love it! What do you think about it? |

No, he just reworded an Irish drinking song.
I love the anthem itself but its pretty unsingible as it is and the new lyrics make it a bit harder. Theres also a couple of more verses gloating over how many British were killed in the War of 1812. |

It would be pretty hard to make a hymn to peace out of gloating over another country's dead. |

a anthem reflects a nation as whole, not the popular political opinion. |

That, presuming everyone has the political consciousness, knowledges and capability to cope with the consequences of their actions needed.
Hee in Mexico many people have been asked "Are you right or left wing?" "I'm Right wing" "Why?" "Because I'm right-handed". |

Me too! I am left-wing AND left-handed too!
Only around 5% are left handed, but the proportion of left-handed people in universities and high ranking positions is much higher. Maybe being left-handed increases the chance of having more intellect... |

it brakes my heart to tell you this, but on average right handed people live longer than left handed people, nobody knows why, altho i doubt it haves anything to do with the use of hand. |

I've heard this statistic before but I'm not too worried because its most likely a coincidence. _________________
