For those interested in learning some spanish:

Alphabet:

A: Sounds always like "a" in "apple".

B: same as in English.
C: With a,o,u sounds like "K"; with e,i sounds like "S". eg: cuchara (spoon) - koochara, cepillo (brush) - sepeeyo. With "h" always sounds like "ch" in "Chamber".
D same as in English
E always sounds like "e" in "Germany"
F same as in English
G With a,o,u sounds like "g" in "gate"; with e,i sounds like "h" in Hemingway.
H never has sound.
I always sounds like "i" in Hillary.
J always sounds like "h" in "ham"
K same as in English
L same as in English except that double "ll" will sound like Y.
M Same as in English
N same as in English
Ñ sounds like the combination of "gn" in "cognac" or "Cromagnon".
O always sounds like "o" in "Onthology"
P Same as ion english
Q same as in English, though it is always followed by "u" and a vowel.
R Same as in english but with a more marked sound
S Same as in English
T Same as in english except that mixing with "h" doesn't lead to "th" English sound.
U Always sounds like "oo" in "Hooligan".
V Same as in English (labiodental)
W Same as in English
X Can sound as "H" in "hall", as "Ks", as "Ts" or as "Sh".
Y Comparable to J
Z Same as in English

Basic phrases:

Hello - Hola
How're you doing? - ¿Cómo te va?
Fine - Bien
Normal - =
Bad - Mal

Where are you from? - ¿De dónde eres?
I am from... - Yo soy de....
What's your name? - ¿Cómo te llamas?/¿Cual es tu nombre?
My name is.... - Me llamo.../Mi nombre es...
How old are you? - ¿Cuántos años tienes?/¿Qué edad tienes?
I am... X years old - Tengo X años.
What do you like (to do)? - ¿Qué te gusta (hacer)?
I like (to).... - Me gusta...

USSR = Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
URSS = Unión de Repúblicas Soviéticas Socialistas.

Workers of the world, unite! : ¡Trabajadores del Mundo, uníos!

Sickler and Hammer: Hoz y Martillo

Comrade: Cámarada

Bolivarian: Bolivariano

Communist: Comunista

Socialist: Socialista

Bolshevik: Bolchevique

I guess I'll have to correct you Smile

Союз Советских Социалистических Республик - Soyuz Sovyetskih Sotsialisticheskih Respublik-Union of Soviet Socialist Republics-Unión de Repúblicas Soviéticas Socialistas. That is following the order directly from Russian.

"Camarada" does not have an accent in the 1st "a" since the diacritic accent goes in the 2nd "a" Smile
