I've another minor change by adding a slogan on the earth;


In Latin the slogan reads: "Unity from enmity". I think it represents this forum well.

i think the slogan should be gold and the pic of the earth should be red/blue insted of white/black style

Renegade Kautsky's is really good but I made my own.



I know it still uses the UN globe but Iceland is no longer visible so it should be ok.
I'll probably make a better one that is more Marxist later.

I'm just playin' around mattabesta,

I tried the gold lettering, and it didn't work as well as you'd think. cyclops

I chose do the black background with symbols because I wanted the banner to represent all the viewpoints on this site. I think that the problem with current symbol is that is seems to be blatantly socialist in color schemes. Though I myself, am a socialist, I still think we need a banner that represents the full political spectrum of this forum. As far as Oligarch's banner is concerned I think it even more biased than our current one, because the traditional UN symbol is now surrounded by the CPUSA symbol.

The UN symbol itself has also been modified to exclude Iceland.

This version is even better as it includes Lenin's hanging order.

Once I've found a way around the hammer and sickle it will actually be very neutral, besides this forum takes its name from the World Socialist Republic and therefore its only natural that the banner have socialist overtones.

While I think there are a majority of socialists/communists this forum is nonetheless the World Republic (Uniting all people!) not the world socialist republic. pirat

Hmm.. Better, but you should get rid of the hammer and sickle and make part of the banner blue if you can. It would also be cool if you could incorporate the slogan "Unitas ex Inimicitiae" (Unity from Enmity).
