North Korean soldiers shot a South Korean tourist dead

South Korean government stopped tourist program to Kumgangsan (Diamond Mountain) in North Korea after one of the tourists has been shot by soldiers.

According to North Korean soldiers, they have shot at her after they told her to stop, but she tried to run away.

Diamonf Mountain is the most beautiful mountain in the Korean penninsula and over 2.000.000 tourists have visited it already. South Korean tourists may visit this resort since 1998. This year, already 190.000 people have been there.

However this resort is very close to the North-South border and also very close to an important North Korean naval base, therefore it has a high amount of troops guarding it.

I personally think that the soldiers thought she is a North Korean trying to flee to South Korea. This kind of actions are some of the reasons why people INDEED try to flee.

It´s depressive, when people must die about this stupid things.

No actually, they dont have sufficiant medical supplys, and refuse to let foreign doctars in to help (untill recently).

yes but its was never the talk about to give up ther nukes that they already have, and it was a taktic to do that! why US gives them now all they need and throw the sanctions away, becouse the did it, the give up the nuclear program gived Nk the average to biuld up ther economy

NK doesn't attacks other countries and lives on its own resources. It's difficult to live there because of the sanctions the US imposed on the country.

Some people say that the DPRK is a great country and the people there have a very nice live there. It´s called the paradise of the worker class.
