| Alright, when claiming that something exists, the burden of proof lies with the ones making said claim.
Grammar Nazi. | |

Grammar Nazi. You quite clearly stated that 'Jesus' was made up. Now prove it.

Grammar Nazi. You quite clearly stated that 'Jesus' was made up. Now prove it. Read the post that you quoted. I don't need to, the christians do. However, since the christians are unwilling and unable to do what is required of them, I will post my arguments:

| I know perfectly well about the burden of proof. There's no reason to believe in Jesus. However, absence of evidence is not evidence of absence. So, since you're so sure that Jesus definitely did not exist, where's your evidence? The burden of proof falls on you now, since you're making the claim that Jesus definitely did not exist. | |

| there is some pretty valuable proof against the exsistance of jesus christ or at least against the factuality of the biblical details of his life. just an example: the new testament was allegedly written by the decipels of jesus christ. they wrote it as they followed him as means of chronicling his teachings. but the first book of the new testament did not appear until some 70 years AFTER the crucifixion. and the final book "revelations" did not appear until some 350 years after the passion... Revelation was said to have been written by the apostle john who was in his early 30's at the time of jesus' death..... john 380 years old? not likely anyway his actual exsistance is irrelevent when you look at his message. which wasn't so great haha. His deciples were actually referred to as his "doulos" doulos is the greek word for slave, he stormed the temple and kicked out the money lenders but if you look at the original scripture it clearly states he had both a whip and a sword when doing so, this of course directly contradicts most of his teachings. in fact it was that exact passage that hitler later used to justify his "final solution". and finally he claimed that he was the son of fucking god! doesn't that sort of illegitimize his wisdom for any of you? and he makes it quite clear that the only passage to heaven was to accept him as the son of god... if that is true than every Muslim little girl that dies in Iraq as a casualty of war goes to hell and adolph hitler a devout christian goes to heaven. so yup... he's a hero alright | |

Not evidence against his existence, just evidence against the accounts written about him. He was a bit of an asshole at times, yes, but he could turn water into wine. Can you imagine how much restraint it takes to have that ability and not abuse it?

| You all ways make water from wine.
Grapes + Water = Wine (I know its more complicated process...)
Jesus was basically just a philosopher, but Constantine exaggerated every thing he did to make him seem like a god.

Our bodies are made mainly out of water. Jesus could turn David Blain into wine. Beat that.

George Washington was a general and a president, Jesus literally never did anything that effected the physical realm in any way what so ever. His actions caused a religion to be created. This religion is now the largest in the world and has something to do with most religous conflicts. Jesus inadvertantly caused everything done in his name or with Christian values in mind... whether he would have wanted it or not. Emperor Constantine created christianity at the Council of Nicaea because Jesus was a composite Horus, Mithra, Krishna, Julius Caesar and others.
Jesus' actions were all metaphors for the year. lolololol I find ppl that beleve that funny they didn't create it but they photo shopped it.

I used Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Ulead GIF Animator 5. Adobe CS3 Collection(All CS3 products)Ulead GIF Animator 5
Note that given the crudity of the drawing, I could have just as easily have used MS Paint. - Quote :

Clowns in overalls are invading . Grab your sandwichs, saldwater, and rubber duckies. It's cow-wranglin' time. You know what I've noticed? Spamistan sounds like a place made specificly for spam but it's described, eccentially, as an off-topic forum. I wouldn't feel comfortable spamming there anymore than I would anywhere else. When I joined Calinis had a ton of really spammy looking threads. Were they frowned upon or considered acceptable?
