Personnes ne s'attendait a ce que les Pays-Bas offre un grande résistance, la France oui...

A:The allias(not the french) already had douzend spies on D-day.
B:A English spy did the most, he was a double-spy from the germans and messaged them about the planes who would come the night before D-day, he said the planes were landing in some other area.

And yes indeed, the French resistance did do much, but you can't say they did more then the Allied forces(disincluding France), and they attacked germans, but for what ending? The german had many troops to take revenge on civilians. Even some villages were completely killed 'cause the resistance actions, and yes the resistance knew it, but I could not say they were abd 'cause they were great but they should think better about the consequence.
