| Ok, to ask serveral of my comrades here...just HOW can I explain communism in a good way to my fellow classmates in school. All they seem to do is ignore me and keep their eyes to the blind corruptness that is capitalist facism. After which I get angred much and start attacking the US personally (like how US has killed more children in war and jusified it).
After of which, comes the cappie dogma of "freedom and democracy" to "express ourselves". I understand many countries do not have that "freedom" (but only because the US pays them money to STFU).
Well, what's the POINT if those voices are not even heard?!

| It is fairly easy for me. I say it is when every one is equally paid, and the people generally care for each other instead of caring only for money. then most people are like: "then why aren't we communist" and I reply, "exactly" | |

| communism is a classless society where private property is abolished, all means of production are owned by the people. There is no bureaucracy, and actually in the end goal there is no democracy, people will have a say in everything that they do.
Classless stateless egalitarian society where all property is communally owned and al that remains is the administration of things. that is more eliqently put by shabazz |

That's the problem. Don't make petty little attacks on America and use it to justify what other "communist" countries did. Then you look like a hypocrite. You have to kick out all that wicked. Don't condone any violence that is not used for the liberation of the people (And even then, don't celebrate it; violence is the most unfortunate part of our miserable existence, and it need never be condoned). - Quote :

Usually i explain how black and white freedom really is. If you don't agree, you'll just have to find a different method of persuasion, but if i humbly explain it to them, they are generally empathetic. So i'd say, explain and justify communism as an ideal society, based on egalitarianism (because the only thing they can argue after that is its impracticality, which is easy enough to refute), and explain how we are violently oppressed, and violence is the only way, however unfortunately, to liberate ourselves (I like to use the example of two neighbors; if there is to be peace between them, then they both must agree on it. If not, then there can be no peace. If one neighbor tries to forcefully exploit the other, the latter has no choice but to answer with violence or comply with servitude). Well, that's my 2 cents at least.

| X_X I feel this is a bad week for me... X_X I tried explaining communism to my classmates but they simply don't wanna listen. In my econ class, it's just TOO hard to keep qiute whenever your very own friends start to be fed brainwashing propagnda despite all the evidenece around them that "capitalism is not freedom". I want to speak out and have actual discussions with them, but all they seem to group my views as is "racial militant". I asked my teacher about it and she said "They probably are ignorant". My very thought was, "Yes, that is true because of the system teaching them one way-one government." What should I do? | |

| I actually derailed my entire Government class by discussing the positives of Socialism.
I linked the free market system to the failure of the Economy right now. I then explained how it hurt each person individually and as a nation. Then I told them that if more Socialist ideas were accepted we would be better off.
Basically my arguement was -Bank shuts down -Stock market freaks out -Banks less willing to give loans -Harder to pay for collage -Lack of paying back makes a bank close -Stock market freaks out -etc

| :O Wow Dio, never thought you'd actually bring that up since...well... XP Anyways... since socialism and REAL democracy go hand in hand with each other, I could try explaining that to them but they would most likely dismiss me with the assumption of "But that IS democracy NOT socialism." Perhaps I could then say, "But do you KNOW what democracy is and is not?" I don't know, but I'll continue to push and fight against igorance in my school! | |
