| Leninist USSR was to a degree communist.
oh and in response to your remark about Bakunin, "invisible dictatorship" is referring the revolutionary leadership of those in favor of the revolution

Not really. The means of production belonged to the state, not the workers. Or, if you mean right under Lenin, wouldn't that be referring to 'war communism' and the NEP? They ain't socialist.

So basically Stalin read more of Bakunin's criticisms of Marx than what Marx actually advocated.

| WORLD REPUBLIC KOMSOMOL EXAM:
2 points Explain communism in at least one sentence: A social and economic theory of which the ultimate goal of the society is to achieve a classless society, equal distribution of property, and liberty to the masses.
2 points Explain socialism in at least one sentence: Collective wealth, power to the masses, it is arguably the antithesis of capitalism
NOTE: theoretically there can still be private wealth in socialism.
2 points Explain capitalism in at least one sentence: Capitalism is wage slavery, economic oppression and a bane on society.
2 points Explain democracy in at least one sentence: It's a system in which the majority rules.
2 points Explain dictatorship in at least one sentence: A system in which one entity controls the masses.
0 points Name at least one communist country: Marxist-Leninist U.S.S.R.
ANSWER: This country wasn't communist. It claimed to be socialist. Some argue it wasn't either socialist. Nevertheles it never claimed nor was communist.
0 points How many communist countries exist currently? it is dependent on what one considers true communist but to guess i would say:
Cuba, Vietnam, Laos and china... sort of
ANSWER: Not a single country was communist so far. You listed countries which claim to be socialist. They are socialist countries by name.
1 points What kind of economic system is there currently in EU countries? (type the name of the system) Supranationalism
I'm sorry, that's not an economic system, but it is reflected in EU economy.
2 points Give a scenario when each of the following is bad: dictatorship, democracy dictatorship: a dictatorship of a tyrant rather than of the proletariat democracy: even democracy isn't completely free because the minority is oppressed.
1 points What are the strengths and weaknesses of free market and centrally planned economy. (name at least one strength and one weakness for each.) Strength: because of economic competition the goods become of a higher quality as those who produce them compete. weakness: wage slavery, economic inequality and a cast system
ANSWER: you didnt list strengths and weaknesses in centrally planned economy. Good quality can triumpf in a planned economy too, because in a centrally planned economy the goal is to produce goods of certain quality for the people, while free market produces good with the sole purpose of making profit by selling them. That's the reason why I still have electronic devices made in USSR which still work after 20 years. Capitalist mechanism would never produce something of such a good quality, because after you bought one of such electronic devices you would never replace it.
14\20 points 70%
it was tight, but you still pass!
TOTAL 20, 60% needed to pass.
