| Wake up. Eat. Button up my shirt, tie my tie, put on my shoes. Drive. First hour, I stand. I say, "hello." They say nothing back. Second hour, I stand. I say, "hello." They say nothing back. Strangers and friends alike. I say, "hello." They say nothing back - or the equivalent of such. Third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth, ninth hour, I stand. I dream, I wish, I think, I desire, I yearn. Mostly, though, I stand. I say, "goodbye." Drive. Unbutton my shirt, untie my tie, take off my shoes. Sleep. Wake up. It's just another day.

So your job is uhm.. some drive-tru guy?(No offense if this is a offense) No offense taken. But no, I work retail, and it's always so slow and depressive. It doesn't help that people don't want to interact with you. It's so bizarre. Maybe it's just because I'm very sociable, but when I greet people, ask them how they're doing, they usually just say "good" or "fine", or they say nothing at all. I try to talk to people, but they just don't want any part of it. It's very disheartening. Get a job at a restaurant. Never work retail.

Actually a uncle of my'n works at this shop close to Amsterdam and is at the pay desk, anyways he gets very deppresive from it, he lives in Amsterdam and he does not get a car from the shop so he got to wake up at 6:00(6 am) to go with the bus and when at the shop, many people are just so freaking antisocial, then you got the youth who want to lurk my uncle out so they can steal some booze(he works in a alchol shop), then he get some other people who just go to the desk and say "here, pack it up" all that shit. Anyways he quit workin there and found a new job, but this is gettin lil' off-topic, but yeah it really sucks sometimes.

Oddly enough, you and I have had the same problem. Granted, I don't really mind it. I mean, I'm flattered by it and everything, but I just say, "Sorry, I'm not gay" and they usually don't mind me telling them that I'm not interested. The ones that are persistent afterwords, however, tend to be annoying.

| Well, when you're working as a realtor you're just getting income by comission. This ultimately means that you hope everyone that enters the apartment complex enters with the inention to buy an apartment or at the very least get information about the apartments... But when a guy comes 2-3 times solely to flirt yet pretending to be interested in the apartments, well now that's quite bothering.
Sadly enough, in an entire year I don't remember I saw any cute girl...

| You should NEVER try to be sociable. SOMEONE'S likely to take SOMETHING you say offensively, and call your manager. Just stick to saying hi and asking them how they are. NEVER anything else. EVER. YOU WILL GET FIRED. | |

It's very disheartening. Get a job at a restaurant. Never work retail. I don't know... you make it sound good for someone who has trouble getting up the courage to respond with "good" or "fine" when spoken to, like myself. ...how I hate going out in public. Retail... resteraunt... neither option sounds good, actually. Not at all.
