| Most people in Cyprus don't want government to be based on ethnicity, that's why both the Greek and Turkish Cypriots elected a communist president who will unite the country rather than keep it divided along racial lines. | |

umm I think it dosen´t matter wether he is communist or not... Yes it does, a communist can be trusted to what is in the best interst of everyone, regardless of ethnicity. | |

In most cases a communist would do what is best for the people rather than most other politicians but in the case of Cyprus AKEL can be trusted not to have an agenda that is exclusively Turkish or Greek unlike most other parties. | |
