This shows how big corporations contribute to famine in Africa. The scrap metal exports was banned because the telecomunications company accuse them of stealing copper wires to sell as scrap; when in fact, most were picked off the street. Even if they did steal it, they did have reason to do it. Its also worth noting that many people depend on collecting scrap metal to feed their families. This shows that large companies have too much power, and that the government may have been bribed.
