Earlier this summer I was in a work-school and when it ended there was a ceremony and the Minister of the Environment and the head principal were there. There is some international environmental recognition That was being given too the school, while the Minister of the enviroment was giving her speech about how the school had put so much effort into getting this regignation(we didn't do shit) she talked about how the world was unfair.
She made 10 stutents stand in a line and made 2 step forward and she said: these two stutent represent those who have 80% of the worlds money, is that fair?, what I want is that the rest of the students can all be equal and can use resources together and be equal. After that she babbled on about the future n stuff and then she asked if ANYONE disagreed, I raised my hand and accused her for brining Communist propaganda into a public school and that she was just a fucking melon, green on the outside, red inside. She was totally stunned and replyed that it was indeed propaganda.
After her speech was finished an assistant of hers talked to me and told me that I coun't talk to the minister that way, I told her there was freedom of speech in this country and that she should just fuck off.

And the basis on accusing her was...? For what? Equality? The way I see this situation is that she was simply stating a mere fact while you managed to pull off a "Red Scare" tactic of the 1930s and accused her of being a communist with NO FACTUAL evidence whatsoever.

School is propaganda. The propaganda you need to worry about is that which comes from sources that have a vested power-interest in the subject related to the propaganda (especially when the propaganda perpetuates/creates false/skewed information, and/or leaves out information vital to making an informed decision).

Well if she is admitting that she is spreading communist propganda there's a high chance she is, but since she is a minister she is probably on some left wing fuck party, could be social democrats, could be socialists. Or green socialists.

Yes, in Canada and USA I know for sure. I think the UK, and obviosly Iceland. I think most western countries have this.

Around here a teacher got fired for having a personal picture of George W Bush in their class room a few years ago.

not really, the teachers can have there opinions and the books usually get through with minimal checking but politicians talking to children is not ok.

No its the other way around. Politicians are alloud to go in and speak, and even create the text books. But teachers cant stray from these text books.
