| I know with Vista - a copy of Mac- you can limit the time you spend using certain applications. If its really that bad, why don't you consider that? I think Windows 7 has the same feature.
But MAC is always the best.

| Get your capitalist rhetoric out of here Alex. Use Unix or Linux, or any freeware operation system. I understand using windows, because thats the chapest and easies to find, and good to those who are new at computers (like people in developing countries) or just anyone who dosent have the time to take up learning to use and maintain a free ware OS, its a lot more hands-on than Windows or Mac, but its really easy once you get the hang of it. | |

| I didn't even pay for my OS. That's why I'm using it- teh computer was given to me by a friend. I never bought it. If I had a computer with no OS I would either download Vista with the CD I already have, which he gave me, or a freeware system. I am just more acquainted with Windows. Like I KNOW Vista has that feature, because I use it. Money is nothing of the issue. If Freeware actually cost money, and Mac and Windows didn't , you would advocate Windows and Mac?

And Zealot, what ever's right for you. By that I mean what If Linux (which IS freeware) became a product which would cost money. You would support the on that is free?

| I support freeware, not Linux solely. So ya, if it wasn't freeware I wouldnt like it. I admit windows and mac are better, but their not nearly worth the price you pay for them.
also this is getting way off topic, if you want to continue discussing it make a separate thread
