I have to disagree with you, its just shit.

I mean its just a big iPodtouch for alot of money, and then you also got pay that shit service for whatever per month, and it isnt easy to carry with you. I dont think alot of people waited for that.

I prefer a iPod Touch.

Also, this iPad suppose to be superiour to the netbook, and have a better experience to work on, watch shit on that stuff.

Now I see a problem, if you gonna work on it, and obviously type some shit, it would take alot more time to type on that touch screen then a keyboard, and if you wanna search something you gotta close all pages before safari or something can run. And its uber expensive for such a thing.

Maybe exciting for some die hard apple fans/geeks but for the regular ass person, I bet their satisfied with a iPhone touch or w/e.

Its cheap, with the highest end model costing only 800$. Especially because it just came out. You don' have to subscribe to internet- did you subscribe for your iPod touch? No contracts, cancel anytime, plus breakthrough prices. Its also more portable and lighter than anything like it.

And well, guess again! It was designed to be able to easily work on, with apps for iWork!!!!11!!!! And they are so easy to use, because they were specially developed just for the iPad! Its also better at browsing the web, watching video, youtube, viewing pictures, playing games (1 ghz Atom A4 processor!!!!), working for almost all mobile devices and lots of laptops.

The iPad is already done since MONTHS. It is not cheap cuz its just a bigger iPod touch with some extra shit. More portable? Yeah right look, a iPod touch is something I could easily carry in my pocket but that thing? Yeah not really, unless I have to get a bag with me, cuz that shit aint fitting in my pocket of my pants. OH SHI APPS ON iWORK OMFGGG. Yeah but typing is still a bitch. And you gotta close every page to go to the internet, so if your viewing photo's or playing a game, you gotta close that adn then you can go on the internet.

Also I gotta add, since you can carry this iPad in a bag, why not get a laptop? With a laptop you can do more, and for almost the same price. I man a cheap iPad is 350-400 dollars? And that's a sucky one with little GB. So if you want to pack a good one with lots of GB it can go into 500-700? Then just get a laptop, if your gonna pack it into a pack cuz both dont fit in a pocket. And with a laptop atleast you get a keyboard, easier to type, easier to work on, and you can watch photo's on it too! And the laptop is a way better system to play games on, sure the iPad can be fun but to own it for gaming, well I will never pay 350-700 bucks for that. Laptop > iPad. I say a netbook kinda sucks tho, so the iPad is maybe better then that, but still.

Laptops are less portable, still.

The big thing is, you can do everything with your hands on the iPad, making it alot easier to manipulate things. Therefore its easier to browse the web, photos, videos, internet, and play games with your hands. Because you can use your hands, it is much easier to manipulate spreadsheets, documents, and slideshows. How is typing on a touch screen harder?

Browse the internet with your hands easier? Well on some things, but on typing? No, the keyboard dominates.

Play games? Not really, only on the games that are really play only with hands, which is pure fun yes, but I still prefer a controller.

They're different games. Can you turn your computer to the turn to the left in a game? iPads have a touch screen plus accelemerators, which allows them to do things nothing else can.

Uhm I think your the one who is defending the iPad so you tell me or give me a link or something, as I said in my previous posts you can see why the iPad just is somehting no one was really waiting for and the laptop is superior.
