its hard to beleve that he was a royal a stroke of luck, i don't think that if they went through the non royals they wouldn't of found anyone half as good at rulering the empire as him |

| I respect him a lot, though I am anti-monarchist. He wasn't addicted to luxury like most of monarchs in Europe and worked with simple workers when he was young. He also made patriarchal Russia more progressive, which was a great thing.

Indeed. In my view he was one of the greatest leaders Russia has ever had. He was, for a monarch, someone exemplar. |

| he brouht russia to europe and mdrinized the army but he was a terribel man hows idear of fun was to make someone drink till he passed out and then when he woke up force him to drink more and torture, vilonce was fun to him, he went to many wars wch brought littel back and cost many lives but his precistenc, to not to surrender expanded russia and with his victory ower the sweeds won him a part in the baltic were he founded petersburgh. good and bad just like ivan |
