Iranian Special Forces Abduct 1000 Wokers

Subject: Iranian Special Forces Abduct 1000 Wokers Tue Apr 15, 2008 2:15 am

Iranian Special Forces bulldozed their way into the Kian Tyre factory and kidnapped 1000 workers protesting 5 months of unpaid wages. Their whereabouts are unknown at this time.

That's the Iran for you. Whatever small facade of democracy they had is gone. It's pretty much run by the "revolutionary guard". Unfortunate really...

The whole situation in Iran is the fault of the U.S. They had a democratically elected leader in 1967, Mohammed Mosaddeq, but the CIA took him out because he was nationalizing Iran's oil.

Unless the people of Iran do something though, it will only get worse. The revolutionary guard has consolidated it's power.

well as long as some pinko isnt in power I guess that is the lesser evil. Least they are talking to us now.

That's the thing though, Mossadeq wasn't a communist or even a social democrat really. He just nationalized Iran's oil from the US and Britain. And before we assassinated him, Mossadeq talked to us.

During the height of McCarthyism "Pinko" was a derogatory term Republicans used for liberals or hippies. The idea being that they were "almost reds" or "pink".

yes but it was primaraæy the brithish actully, they just told the cia russia was going to stage a revelution in iran and whoop they had founding.
