Inkus- If you call soccer, football, what would you call football? Why don't you just say futbol when you mean soccer? Cos here in america, we don't really get into soccer.

Football is called football because the ball is kicked with the foot.

We call that boring game that stops every 5 seconds American football.
Although I propose the name be changed considering you 'hold the ball' more than you kick it.

Instead I think it should be called - That game that stops every 5 seconds

Still, its not half as bad as baseball.

Ya, it stops because its a game of strategy. it's a more intellectual game besides being athletic.

And if you say it's boring, i'm obligated to defend it. You say it's boring, but what's the most scoring you've ever seen in a soccer game? It may not have as many stops, but it's sure as hell a slower watch than football.

Half the people i talk to said that game sucked, the other half say it was badass. I'm with the "badass" sayers. I can't stand the Patriots, and not just for the fact that they're dirty cheaters. And i've always defended Eli Manning, so i'm glad he won a title with his team. I was rootin for the Giants the whole time (though i didn't think they'd actually win, to be completely honest).
