Workers do not have complete control over the state. How unfair!

get this, In Florida the unions have no power and are almost illegal. Teachers in Florida make something like 30k a year while in places like New York they make 100k.

I aggre with you, in Iceland 30 years ago men worked as techers and were some of the best paid in the cuntry, now a normal teachers income is half that you can get working in a bank all becuse the goverment is stupid and refuses to pay them more, not that I don't like the strikes.

the bosses keep their books closed

as far as I am concerned that is a basic right of the workers

to see the boos when the bosses claim to be losing profits

Well, i used to work at king soopers (a kroger associated grocery store) and, instead of giving the cashiers more hours, they got very little as it was, they would put baggers in the check stands when they needed more help. This had a couple advantages for the company. One, they don't need to give more hours to their cashiers. Two, they get the same amount of work that a cashier would do, for the minimum cashier wages (whereas everyone of the cashiers there was at the top of the pay bracket). Third, by lowering cashier hours, it makes the store look more efficient at the corporate office, so managment got bigger bonus checks... Overall, that company is wicked fucked up.

In my second stint at that company, i almost got a bunch of people to walk out on the company, but it fell through, unfortunately. And i did get the baggers to refuse to get in the check stand for a while, but once they all started getting written up for insubordination, they broke.

... What? How'd you come to that from what i said?

They have cashiers for the sake of cashiering, no?

If so, why should they put baggers, whose jobs are bagging (not cashiering), in the checkstands at the expense of the well-being of the cashiers? That's fuckin corrupt. This has nothing to do with me.

... Your avatar is really creepin me out.
