Theory of Classes Empty

Theory of Classes

I have formulated a new theory of classes which has expanded the one-dimensional classical Marxist conception as just bourgeois and proletariat into three levels of classes.

1. Economic Classes: these are based on access to the means of production, the normal classes. Ex: bourgeois and proletariat.

2. Ideological Classes: these are based on ideology. They are classified into ideologies of each class. Ex: bourgeois ideology (greed) and proletariat ideology (cooperation).

3. Political Classes: these are based on action. They are classified into actions favoring each class. Ex: bourgeois action (making authoritarian laws) and proletarian action (revolting against capitalism).

The change from one mode of production to another can be seen as a realization of each class.

Ex: Capitalism automatically establishes the proletariat class. Then, through propaganda, the vanguard gives consciousness to the proletariat, creating an ideological class of the proletariat. When this class is large enough, the level-three proletariat can be forceful enough so that the proletariat action overthrows capitalism.

This establishes socialism, which immediately abolishes level one classes, because everyone is made into a worker. However, ideological and political classes still exist, necessitating the existence of a state. The vanguard in this stage must educate the backward masses to give all of the people class consciousness (make them see that communism is the best). This abolishes level-two classes. Next what must happen is the state and the socialist labor-time economy must wither away. This only happens when people are willing to cooperate, and contribute according to their ability and take according to their need. This will abolish level-three classes and since all classes are eliminated, communism is established.

This analysis is much more coherent than the normal linear conception of classes. The classical Marxist conception means that automatically socialism is a classless stateless society, which is obviously incorrect.

Also most Marxists also think within this framework, although they do not explicitly state that they do. Most Marxists say that the state is to prevent a counterrevolution, even thought their narrow definition of class would suggest otherwise. Preventing counterrevolution is suppressing action contrary to the wishes of the ruling class, which fits precisely with the definition of a political class.

So you see, many Marxists already accept this theory of classes even though they don’t know it yet. They still cling to their old, one-dimensional theory which is not as useful a tool and is inconsistent with Marxism.

Those are just examples I'm not saying all bourgeois are only greedy and all proletarians are only cooperative, but the ideology that benefits the bourgeoisie the most is greed and the ideology that benefits the proletariat the most is cooperation. THe bourgeoisie have realized their class consciouness well because they aare the ruling class but many proletarians atill have flase consciousness because they are ideologically bourgeois because of propaganda.

How? The economic class can be seen as the base, which influences the ideology. First the economic class structure changes, which inevitably forces the ideological class structure to change, which forces the political class strusture to change. It is just like Marx's base-superstructure model. This theory fits with historical materialism because it says that the political class rests on top the ideologica one, which rests on top the economic one. This means that when there is a ruling class and a lower class the lower class will develop class consciousness and then revolt. This is bascially historical materialism written in different language, so I don't know why you are calling it idealism. If this is idealism then Marx was an idealist.

Stop trying to expand on Marxism when you clearly don't understand it.
