Hello everyone

Greetings everyone, My name is W1Ck3d, real name William or Will. I am 17, living on the NE Coast of Scotland, small town just south of Aberdeen. I'm currently attending Angus College, for an access to uniformed services course (think military preparation etc.) With an aim to joining the Royal Marines.

I'm a huge fan of German NDH Metal band, Rammstein Along with some other German musicians, i recently passed an entry level CEFR A1 qualification with the Goethe Institut, so i can speak some German I am currently trying to learn Finnish in preparation for a visit there in February, so if any Finns would like to speak to me, and help me learn, and perhaps improve their English I would be delighted to speak to them.

I work in a Co-Operative food store, quite a boring, repetitive job. But, needs must. In what little free time i have, I enjoy Hung Ga Kung Fu (As can be seen from my avatar. It was the only file i had within the required dimensions. xD) Kickboxing, Running, Swimming and killing time with my friends.

Politically, i'm too young to vote But my views are mostly left wing. Unfortunately, the Socialist movement here in Britain isn't very active. (I don't consider Labour left wing anymore)

All in all, i look forward to speaking to you all, and getting to know you all

We have quite a few German speakers here, though the site hasn't been very active as of late, but some old members are returning and we've gotten some new members recently. Your job sounds cool, Im 17 too I'm from the US. Here cooperatives are "evil", like labor unions and same-sex marriage. And I think most people here would agree that the Labour Party isn't Left wing, and I know how it feels, not having any active socialist parties around. I live right outside of DC so there are not many leftists here. Well, I look forward to hearing more about your political views, and hope you stay active. And you should be getting full access soon (I'm and Admin here feel free to message me if you have any questions).

I am familiar with some Russian phrases, there's a large Polish community here, and one of my college friends is Russian. So i occasionally talk to him in his mothertongue, i also visited a Serbian friend in March. During which i learnt some basic Serbian phrases, and the cyrillic alphabet. Polish, Russian & Serbo-Croat all being Slavic languages, i can pick up the similarities pretty easily.


Finnish is fucking impossible however. xD
