So, America

I am not blind. I see what is about to happen in America; A brutal civil war. The actual number of unemployed in this country is unknown. Only those who have worked for six months are eligible for unemployment, and the second their time is up they are dropped from the list, not even a statistic anymore. The youth of this nation are part of a lost generation and we are bitter, perhaps the most bitter people in history. Every day poverty leads to countless( see: not counted) deaths from starvation, drug use, abortion, murder, etc. We were told we could be anything we wanted, None of us wanted to die a poverty related death on the curb.

I do not advocate violence, quite a pacifist myself. But it would take a moron to not realize that Occupy Spring could turn into something very... very... bad. The sad thing is that even though my generation is close to snapping it WILL be them that start the war.

welcome back man, the site's more or less dead. i check back every once in a while, and happened to yesterday. a lot of people from WR still talk to each other but the site's pretty much just spam bots, and Kenzu only cares about that aderan game he made. Zealot is busy, but he posts sometimes though, and mighty observer comes on too. I could probably get some people to come here (i probably should). i'd be interested in making the forum active again, but it depends how many people we get. and if it isn't obvious kenzu style administration didn't quite work out, so shit would be kind of different.

USA has been in situations far worse what you got now and there was no civil war.
What is going to happen is the following: The people will learn to accept it. No one is going to rise up. Things could be worse.

what will happen is
the internet is making people more shy and awkward than ever
all the shy kids who don't have friends and can't get laid
will shoot up their schools
columbine, vt, etc were just the beginning
soon there will be a school shooting every week
all the cool kids who have social skills and a lot of friends will get killed
and the lonely nerds will rule the world

Uhm, in Spain there is a unemployment of 20%. Way more than in the USA(in %, not quanitity). SO yeah, their generation is kind of screwed, its probably screwed in most countries with financial troubles now. While they used to work here until your 65th, now I gotta probably work till my 67th or perhaps 67-70 .

67th what? 67th birthday? I'd start talking about savings, budgets, investments, emergency funds, and retirement funds, but I don't know anything about economics in the Netherlands.
