| I've been picking up trash and recycling bottles and cans, and plan to do more. Are you doing something green, if so, what? | |

| i pet aminals i walk on bugs i ripped a leaf off a tree from the lawn of the white house
the white house has surprisingly low security. i could have hopped teh fence easily. it had no barbed wire or electric stuff and wasnt that high. it had like 2 or 3 guards around it.
i could have come in teh night dressed in black and hopped the fence and hopped out without being noticed. easily.

| I've always recycled. I have a small car. My thinking is that a smaller car -> smaller engine -> less gas -> less emissions. But maybe my science is wrong. Plus, it's the color green. Gotta love symbolism. I've been cutting back on having random items turned on/plugged in. When something isn't being used, it's turned off and unplugged. I have one of those dopey re-usable, bio-degradable shopping bags. And I'm reading a book by Al Gore now. Does that count for anything? My sister is much more green than I am; her whole career is going to be based on enviro-friendly regional planning for developing cities. She has her BS in Environmental Sciences, and is working for her MA in Urban & Regional Planning. I wish I was more green, to be honest. | |

| LOL you peple are sad... Iceland dumps like 1500 tonnes of waste a day a lot for a tiny nation like iceland
we're just small that hydeo and geothermal power is more that enuf for iceland and also the kwph is like 2kr here 3kr in norway and 13kr in most of europe so Iceland has energy intensive industry like data storage, alminum and metal smelting although alaminum smelting is by far the bigges using up 40% of all energy produced.

| Very funny but I'm going to make a answer:
the icelander who found greenland was clever enuf not totell evryone that it was nearly completly barren he just called it greenland so pepole would go there, Iceland WAS a lot more icy and over the first 50ish years it had a lot of names, garðarshólmi (literally named after the man who found it first) then snæland wich means land of snow and then it was named Iceland by an Idiot, or most leykly and idiot becuse he cun't tell the diffrenc beetewn a glaceyer and 50cm of snow ( odd pepole whant to change icelands name back to snæland)
also the greeny thing, Greenland= no natrual energy=oil econamy. Iceland=natrual deposits of oil, 5 Twph of hydro energy and geothermanl energy=more electricity PP than you could wish for.
