PostSubject: MACHINe that had almost achieved power   Wed Jun 18, 2008 11:50 pm

we all know of factory farms, they produced meats and dairy at a affortable rate, but what was really going on. baby cows, were fed a combination of milk, and cows blood, to keep them healthy. most animals never saw light, and they were so cramped, they couldnt even turn thire heads. there was alot of malnourishment and deasease, which led to fights, and a practive where the de-beaked chickens. also, humans started to add a daly dose of anti-biotics to thier food to keep them alive. this over use of anti-biotics brings us closer and closer to a world wide epidemic that cannot be stopped. also all the shit the animals produced was dumped into rivers, so cities near factorie farms had a hight sickness rate. and for us non-animal lovers out there. working in a factory farm is one of the most dangerous jobs out there, but pays less thayt minumun wage. ussually worked by poor helpless immigrants, so the U.S didint even give a damn. this factory machine wiped out 2000 family owned farms in 5 years! also, since they had inexperinced people working the gutting table, meat constatnly had a good supply of shit and sometimes human body parts. also the constant spped of this also means that some cows were still alive when "proccesed".safety was minimized, so profit could be maximized. luckly the us has restriceted some of this and people have gotten more aware and are starting to buy organic materials. but this machine is still out there, and still gaining.

(see i am not lazy, this is just a little joke, form the seriuses of this paragraph, its good to cut loose and have a funny moment, sorry, i really do care about everything i said up there pig )

the machine that is taking over or contry, means all the factory farms. as they are using machinery and bad habits to destroy the organic ways

thats the problem of industrialized food production. on the one hand nobody has to suffer from hunger-wait except third word countries LOL
I aint talking now bout the enviro rail (yea its important but I speciallice more in economy)
We produce so much food that its value drops due to the high ammounts.
Old Market Economy rule: The price of a good depends on its availabillity and the demand. Well there is always a demand but the ammount is really huge. More than the market can carry so food becomes worhtless. The owners of those factories are hardly able to pay the workers they achieve because they re hardly able to get a good prize and yet they re all in a price struggle which harms the quality of the food even more. As an result of this development there could be a monopol or a conglomerate of the biggest producers which is veeeery bad, then if it comes to that, they would settle the prices as high as the market tolerates it and would even lower the quality-hey if there is only one or two contractors where should you buy it? Contractor A which food costs 15$ per pound and has a bad quality or contractor B which food costs 15$ per pound and has a bad quality. Decisisions over decisions... Another bad result of this for the world economy is that they re able to outprice the products from 3rd world countries. We re selling our goods for such a small price over there, so local farmers cant afford to offer their prices and establish their products at this hard market so they re loosing their existence base. Poverty and Conflicts are a result. There are also terrible situation for unions and employment rights. In germany we had a milk-farmer union strike. It was a huge loss because we already had much milk or could import it from eastern europe for much cheaper prices. The farmers made huge financial losses with this strike. The farmer had that what you would call a "fuckd up negotiation base"
And that kinda sucks.

well i do belive the economy is failing due to the meat machine, but our interests are different as you take the economical side and i, the environmental one. but dued to the fact that the machine lowers prcies, organic farms cant compete and must die out. so i guees i shoul d be interested as well. but the machine does much more, hurt than economy, or animals. it does alot to the evnrionemtn. after i am done researching this matter, i will make a long post as well to explain it
