This forum has a group of members with more power and influence than the average site-goer, the Komsomol. I find this ironic since most people on here are commies.

Komsomol=Place where the most frequent posters are admited.

They have no power over others and they don't have more relevance. It's just a bunch of people who have been active enough to be well-known by other users and are to some extent trust worthy.

So it's neither a "burgeoise" nor a "vanguard party".

And no Wei, not all communists are Leninists or Blanquists.

I agree with Zeronos.

Anyone who really wanted to be a member in the Komsomol did become one. If you need to be in Komsomol, you will be in Komsomol. People who need something are trying hard, and those who try hard deserve a spot, since they have proven they need it.

But there was a time where you were accepted.

And, if you really wanted to be in Komsomol you wouldn't have given up and tried to join anyway. You could talk to people who voted against you, persuade them and make an effort.

If someone doesn't fight for their rights, they don't deserve them.

Joining Komsomol doesn't only teach that no communist countries have ever existed, but it also teaches that it is very important to befriend yourself with many people and that only together things can be achieved. If you all were together, not always fighting each other, everyone would have had 100% support in the poll and everyone would have been allowed in. I think Komsomol teaches many things, which are useful in your life.
