So? USSR's were smaller and affected less nations and have stopped. USA's are much larger, have affected much more people and haven't stopped else they're given much less attention.

On those grounds USSR's crimes, while relevant, are objectively less relevant than those of USA. Else, this thread is about USA's war crimes so their relevance is doubly confirmed.

In English when you add apostrophe and s at the end of a given word it implies possesion.

Therefore I was refering to USSR's crimes, not to USSR.

It's linked to the topic because we do live in a "wonderful world" ruled by money and profit. Society is irrelavent in this world today. Ethics? No such thing. Morals? Nope. Nice people who try to expose and recieve justice?

To be honest, if I was forced to stop being communist by some wacko, I would remain a traditionalist. That is the closest thing to true communism at least.

This is a thread about USA's war crimes which are larger and continuous. While USSR's are not less considerable they're given too much attention already, they've been lesser and its mention is not relevant to this discussion.

And now adressing your comment. USSR existed for merely 69 years, that's right, 69 years. USA has been existing for 234 years. During its existance, USSR only engaged in One majour offensive against Poland and ONE offensive war being that war the Afghanistan War. USA since its birth has been constantly engaging in offensive wars from the conquest of the Wild West, to wars with Empires, to wars against neighbours and wars against countries that had done absolutely nothing to the USA.

Since this is a thread about war crimes and you said USSR killed millions of people, I inform you that, as part of war crimes USSR didn't kill millions. It is estimated that USSR killed 1 million Afghans during the 10 years of the Afghanistan war having this war developed nonetheless during a Civil War within the country, factor that has great influence in assesing te death toll. Aside from that million that would be the bulk of USSR's war crimes, it is estimated that during the Soviet offensive against Poland tens of thousands of Poles were victims of USSR's war crimes. While not irrelevant per say, these figures are far away from the millions you claim and dicussing them is irrelevant to this discussion.

For a comparison, USA is responsible for millions of deaths in both Korea and Viet Nam alone. USA is the only nation in the whole world that has ever used nuclear weapons against other costing hundreads of thousands of lives affecting tens of thousands for generations to come as part of the aftermath being besides completely unnecesary from a strategic point of view. This with full disregard for all its mainland expansionist wars and with disregard for following military adventures which have been terribly costly both in human lives and human dignity.

Is this clear enough for you? It's horribly disgusting to start comparing nations to see which has more terrible war crimes as if one of both were deffendable, but for the sake of objectivity I had to do this comparison.

Attach to the topic instead of trying to divert attention to the USSR.
