which is impossible. the u.s. will leave iraq soon (because its getting impossible to keep the illusion of democracy and this war going) claiming to be victorious, when instead they left behind a weak, corrupt government and millions of people who would be perfectly justified in invading the u.s.

innocents are inevitable casualties in any war, whether or not its "by accident", the people are still going to want revenge.

the illusion of democracy in this sense is a term referring to the u.s.'s willingness to hold elections and listen to dissent, until it gets to violent, and then they blast all the dissenters out of the water.

they will leave because its not worth the people thinking they have no say (which will lead to riots and possible revolution)

because of cheques and balances it is impossible for a dictator to take power, the US will remain democratic. a revolution is unlikely considering the stregnth of the US gov and the number of people who support it.
