I'm Steve, how goes it? I plan on becoming an active poster on this board and contributing to the discussion here. I'm 19 years old and I reside in the bowels of northern New Jersey. I identify very strongly as a Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, but I try not to befriend Sectarianism and thusly I identify first foremost as simply a Marxist, one who's liberty is intertwined with all others seeking to bring the fall of Capitalist systems worldwide. My ideological adjectives come later, in more detailed theoretical discussions. I'm not as active on the political front as I'd like to be and I'm looking to join an organization that fits my views -- I am a skeptic of the Revolutionary Communist Party and, of course, I find the Maoist Internationalist Movement to be populated with nothing but lunatics. Any further recommendations towards Marxist, if not Marxist-Leninist or even Marxist-Leninist-Maoist groups, would be greatly appreciated.

I enjoy writing, both creatively and on politics and theory. I really, really like Photography and hope to seek a career in it. I'm a music enthusiast -- I listen to whatever I want, whatever I think sounds good. My favorite genre is Ska, but I enjoy almost all genres, namely Reggae, Hip Hop, Punk, Hardcore.

I only very rarely post one-liners in politically theoretical topics, as a matter of fact I think I can bring detailed and intelligent arguments to all debates I join, and excuse me if I do get a little heated in some discussions So, fellow Communists, I'm glad I've found this board and I'm going to be sure I am a valuable addition to the membership.

I define myself as an eclectic communist, that is, I'm open to hear anythng any comrade has to say and to debate with him/her about the best way to achieve and stablish communism. I identify with you a lot in that I'm not as active politically as I'd like to be and I've not found yet a group that fits enough my views.

I'm trying to make a communist organisation myself which, as I said earlier, will bring us all communists, socialists and anarchists (probably anarcho-communists more likely) together so we can fight for our goal to destroy capitalism.

I'm already registered there, and I did sense some anti-Maoism and just general Sectarianism but it's cool. All it can really be is a learning experience... and an interesting debate.

Thank you for all the warm welcomes. I have received a very welcoming reaction to my presence here so far through almost all I have so far communicated with in the past two days.

I have made public a proposal for the abolition/renaming/replacement of one of the usergroups here, in the Proposals section of the Legislation forum, for any who are interested. Maybe on my second day posting here I can already be making change. I have politically justified my proposals and anyone with stereotypical misconceptions of the Stalinist and Maoist theories would do well to read.

As I don't know whether I should be making another thread for this, my absence from this forum has proven only temporary. I had become very busy with college and work and all that and stopped really making an attempt to get online. But I am back and will keep posting, and I notice Authoritarian Left Wing has been split up and appreciate the open consideration to my proposal.
