Ya. The Korean "Peoples" Army is pretty cool, but I DO like their old 50s style uniforms more. The officer black tunic shown in a Korean War movie were fking badass.

As for the army itself, they aren't as evil as most protray them to be. My dad should know, he met a few Inmin Kun soldiers while in service of the Yongkun. All those soldiers asked of his team was to, "You go this way, and I go that way. Okay?"

They also asked him about snacks. Those KPA soldiers were always hungry for a little something. To quote my dad, "Hey man. Do you have a snack I could eat?" My dad and his men would always drop snacks near the KPA soldiers so they could pick them up after they left.

Sure, I dislike North Korea's government for (trying) to brainwash their people but it hasn't succeeded much. It's because of the poor material conditions in North Korea currently that keep the people wondering about the world.

AK-74 crappy? I really don't want to relieve the debate on wether the M-16 or the Ak-47 is better.

Crappy is a weapon that stops working at the slightest trace of dirt, that will jam quickly. Under the same circumstances an AK-74 will remain workable while other rifles will become no more useful than a club, inspite of being 2-3 times more expensive and not even much more accurate or powerful while workable.

Assault Rifles are not sniper rifles. Accuracy and range are relevant to sniper rifles not so much to assault ones. Reliability is a more important characteristic for such weapons.

M4-A1 is considered an assault rifle, and I never said M16's were better then AK-47...

To say an assault rifle is fairly crappy it has to be way below the standard quality rifles, something not appliable to this case.

But, if you compare all their equipment to that of another country, say maybe Iran or Germany, NK would defiantly have the worst weaponry.
