Typical "Close Mindedness"

I have stated in my introduction thread that I am a capitalist. What I didn't say is that I am open minded and persuadable in regards to opinions on just about any matter. I am telling you this so you will understand why I am defending communism. What you will read ahead is a typical thing a capitalist leader will say regarding communism -- No information to why it is bad, only that it is bad, and it also implies that people people who read Marx and believe what he says are stupid. This is infuriating bigotry to me.

I have witnessed in my life a lot of people who believe something for no other reason than that it serves them to believe in it. It benefits certain people in America to live in a capitalist state, while others it does not. I have made it a rule in my life to never gain an opinion on anything without knowing about all sides of the argument. Some people in America say global warming is a hoax, and that liberals are pushing it onto us because it somehow benefits them to do so. I refuse to believe any politically motivated scientific statements on global warming. Against or for it. It is my personal belief that it does exist and it is happening, but I am open to the argument that I am wrong. I feel if everyone were like this, a lot more people would be getting along with one another, and perhaps more educated. At least, easier to educate. But, I digress.

I complytly agree with you globalwarming is in the intrest of the scientist how studei it if there is nothing to worry about then why should they get paid, the same for the pree if something is bad it sells.

did you ever attend a science class, that is a world average, and 1 degree can make a hug difference on storms etc, thing is there are places that are much warmer thne they used to be while other places are geting alot colder, where i live, ice used to come down all the way to the harbour when i was little, 2-4, and, now it barly reaches the northern part of the island somtimes, its real, now, say that the world is going to be destroyed in 10 years is ludacris, but, the effects of global warmign will be here for along time to come

but this winter has been the coldest for 13years.
ofcourse I'v taken sicenc class and got ten.
what's bad about global warming.
1. higer tempetures (hotter for the dummeis)
2.more drougts and floods.
3.higher waterlevels.

the warer is rising by 1cm a year we can buld higer houses and the dutch have invented floting houses. water has been flowing trhough florenc and amsterdam for cnturyes and they arn't dieng they adabt like we always do.
2. should be solved when icreads water vapor in the air increses as the poles melt.

the thing is the climet will always be changing, up and down i mean it has to be ether and in both cases animals will dei but others will live thus going by natures law of the fittest.

The more developed countries may be able to adapt for some time but the climate will change to quickly and too dramatically for this to go on for very long and even if it can, the developing countries will still be affected.
