Mine was great. Mirror's Edge, Banjo Kazzoie: Nuts and bolts, EB gift card, Linkin Park's last two CDs, Penn and Teller's Bullshit seasons 4 + 5, Ghost In The Shell season 2 (I KNEW they had to have made a second season!), 1970's version of Jesus Christ Superstar, and comfy pants.

As a jewgoldmongler, I don't celebrate it.

However I don't celebrate either the 7 days an oil lamp remained lit.

I got s new harddrive(320GB) and a ton of books.

I got Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts too!

Most of my life I was brought up as a liberal jew, that is, my familiar framework has been predominantly Jewish. Given that fact I've been culturally isolated from christmas within my family.

Christmas music and overall cultural displays are within some of the few things without any direct negative implication that can depress me nearly as much as a real tragic situation. I haven't had a most pleasant december than the one I spent in Russia completely isolated from Christmas environment.

That's what christmas means to me: a depressing period of the year, a period of extra boosted consumerism that begins extraofficially in mid october.

Also, the carols are generally incredibly annoying.

I celebrated christmas in June, when Jesus was actually born.

If you think Christmas has ANYTHING to actually do with Jesus, then you have never actually looked into how the holiday came about.
