What kind of taxation do you support?

Myself support a flat tax.

None. I don't acknowledge state or support market economies.

Taxation is aggressive and violent. Even when the end of which is the welfare of the public, taxation is still enforced under the threat that the State will kidnap you (throw you in jail) if you do not surrender your hard-earned money to it.

But, by and large, taxation doesn't support the welfare of the public anyway, so even if I didn't regard taxation itself as inherently wicked I would still argue that the money robbed from innocent people by it still goes to wicked programs (wars, weapons development, arms purchases, etc.) and an even more wicked institution.

Taxation is theft. This is one thing that I wish that the left-wing (I should say the "further" left-wing to be totally accurate) of the Anarchist movement was more vocal about.

I think people are inherently decent, and I think that whatever excess they may make will - and would, if not for taxes - go to support charities that will aid the poor and will support public services. I think that the ends of good deeds (education, health care, etc.) must have good means (charitable and voluntary donations, as opposed to money stolen by force).

EDIT: By the way, since Liche and Tyrong asked, I'll briefly explain each.

Flat tax: tax at a fixed rate.

Progressive tax: it increases as the taxable amount increases. This basically means that the rich pay more than the poor.

Regressive tax: just the opposite from a progressive tax.

I have to admit that, even though I regard both as being bad, the progressive tax is quite clearly better. I couldn't fathom supporting the regressive tax. It makes no sense to me.

That's is because you lack the insightfulness and vision capitalists (aka innovators aka beacons of progress). If you get more taxed as your income diminishes it's yet another factor putting pressure on you to make more effort!

More like a tax with a constant tax rate.
Aswell as all the people, the rich, the poor, will be taxed at the same rate. That's what I believe in, that every guy should get taxed at the same rate.

By having everyone work for them, that way the government gets more than they would with taxes.
