| Nihilism (from the Latin nihil, nothing) is a philosophical position which argues that Being, especially past and current human existence, is without objective meaning, purpose, comprehensible truth, or essential value. Nihilists generally assert some or all of the following: 1.there is no reasonable proof of the existence of a higher ruler or creator, 2.a "true morality" does not exist, and objective secular ethics are impossible; therefore, life has, in a sense, no truth, and no action is objectively preferable to any other. - Quote :

I think Nietzsche is under credited by most people.

| Ah, the good old, "God is dead" (Gott ist tot) quote. Yes, Nietzsche is a genious.
...
Don't some Americans hate him though? I could be wrong...but given that about 85 percent of Christians in American are...well... "Creatationists", I believe they do.

It's people like Epicurus that make me happy. ^^ I think that point of Epicurian Philosophy As far as Nietzsche is concerned: His writing is somewhat interesting. His works about the "Übermensch" are quite entertaining.

As far as Nietzsche is concerned: His writing is somewhat interesting. His works about the "" are quite entertaining. I have been able to make some correlations between Marxism and Übermensch philosophy.

Nietzshe was an ideologist of capitalism and fascism with his ideas of superior races and people being for themselves.

Like viruses. Basically, we are more complex versions of viruses. As George Carlin put it "Humans are Apes with Baseball caps and automatic weapons". But humans have the potential to do much more than that. Just because life has no metaphysical or divine "meaning" doesn't mean that we can't try to enjoy it and try to make it better for everyone.
