I dont really know :/ The congress can pass a bill and the president can veto it, but what does the supreme court actaully do?

Cases that are fought by the local level and dealing with the suing and such of people in the government. For example, Bush would go against the Supreme court. They also declare if a law is unconstitutional or not. They can hold the president tot he law. They have the power. Whether or not they USE it is moot.

Occasionally, they can also "create" a law, albeit not in the normal process. (Think Roe v. Wade, which legalized abortion)
