you need diplomacy to make friends and allies, you need military to defend country, you need propaganda to stimulate the people, you need economy to build up the country, so all equaly important

but now a days soft power and econmic power are more immportnat

Wars are only other ways of the politic. Some people must die, often senseless. Tell me a war, which was sensefull and have changing the world. I didn´t know someone.

My mind: The military is only useful, if the country is a imperialistic country. The military protect the government, self when they are corrupt and fuc... people and the people can´t make for example a revolution.
The military is a way to opression the people.

military is useful, you need it to protect the whole country, a revolution in our time is not realy possible, or the country's region is got for it like rain forest, 2006 napals maoists have won to the goverment

When the military is used only for defense, than I have no Problem with them, but FACT is that the military is often used offensive. Best example is USA

People kills people, for nothing. Often only for the money of the people who don´t must fight. This was so in the past, at the present and in the future.

And this is the reality!

The military are poor pigs, because there only there when comes a war to protect the government (The people of the government have nothing to do with the war) and that the industry makes a lot of money with them.

in this world, now adays the use og militray invasion will get you screwed.
