The fact that you think USSR was socialist unveils that you yourself do not understand socialism well. Else, being born in USSR doesn't imply that you know or understand what socialism is, for two important reasons: 1) Living within a system doesn't necesarily make you understand it 2) you were not born within a socialist system but a state capitalism. And we can add a third reason: you did not live most of your life, or probably no part of your conscious life under that system you call socialism. - tEvansky wrote:

Since in communism you have to work in order to validate your rights, and that includes freedom, then you are sent to labour camps for not working... Or what, in your understanding of communism/socialism workers feed slackers? - tEvansky wrote:
- Communism is impossible for at least 300 years if at all. There's no way that affirmation can be factual. I'll quote Trotskiy's father for the rebuttal of this statement though: Trotskiy's father said that Tsarism would last at least another 300 years, from that moment, they didn't last even the 10th part of those 300 years. - tEvansky wrote:
- the Soviet Union which existed was the creation of stalin and with that it was an abomination. It used none of Lenin's market based economic policies. In part it was a creation of Stalin, yet, it did employ a market based economy making it just a mere Capitalism of State.

- Well as a member of the Opposition here:
There will always be people like me who oppose any veiw. It is human nature to have our differences, Just like I support a Dictatorship with Capitalism and you support... a Dictatorship with Capitalism..
USSR= State Capitalism, But they claim to be Communist so I dont like it. However it's stupid to disagree just for disagreeing my friend. When you disagree you have to have arguements. For example, capitalists have fair points not to like communism: They don't like class equalty, they believe some should be over others, they believe that conflicts bring benefits, development. If that's their conception of what is correct, then, they have arguementsto disagree with communism andis understandable that they don't like it and they'll never like it. But they don't oppose just for opposing. If someone opposes just to oppose, then that opposition is stupid and does deserve to be simply ignored.
