| That's the Iran for you. Whatever small facade of democracy they had is gone. It's pretty much run by the "revolutionary guard". Unfortunate really... The whole situation in Iran is the fault of the U.S. They had a democratically elected leader in 1967, Mohammed Mosaddeq, but the CIA took him out because he was nationalizing Iran's oil. Unless the people of Iran do something though, it will only get worse. The revolutionary guard has consolidated it's power. | |
