NO one is born a marxist and BECAUSE the poor do not have the same access IF ANY access to the institutions of power from which they can empower themselves like the bourgeoisie has in the past in THEIR revolutions.

Yes they knew they were poor but they didn't look at things from a class perspective. They were a predominantly backward peasant society and the proletarians that existed were basically proletarianized peasants. Where would they get the idea that their society is socially reactionary and that the only path forward is the smashing of the state. Who would teach them the nature of the state when it cannot be found in any bourgeois text book?

The worker's vangaurd not only provides the workers with a platform to discuss the correct way forward DEMOCRATICALLY but it also helps to bring a marxist perspective to workers that have not yet gained it.

I didn't know shit until i picked up a book on communism. So who would provide the workers with literature when revolutionary lit was banned?

their not poor enough maybe. or maybe they dont need to make socialism, capitalism instead. imnot relly sure but if they cant gain class consciousness therselves then it is not itme for a reveluction.
