We watched a movie about McCarthyism in school today. My history teacher is a rightwinger and she said that even though people criticize him many of the people he said were actually commies. She also always rants about how we have to stay in Iraq to win the war. She pisses me off.

it's unlikely the anthem would ever change, it has to do with the battle for baltimore in the war of 1812, which was a turning point in the war.

i thought the bombs bursting in air was about when the bombs were shot at fort sumter at the start of te civil war
