Aye, China never ceased to be a capitalist country.
IIRC the people involved in this incident were not all partisans of western liberal democracy, many of them were workers who objected to recent economic reforms and, apparently, they sung l'internationale at one point.

You'd be a capitalist if your objective was just to earn money but you just seem to want to have a better life quality and you plan to achieve it by the means your actual situation demands you. You're just a good girl adapted to her environment.

I think a man could focus on only that, cause we give him the freedom to do that BUT ofcourse if it gets to out-handy if there are wars in the game and lives. Just see at Iraq, bush just want to earn money there and he dosn't care about ppl's lives. But ofcourse if your very rich u would atleast give some to a organisation for the poor or something

I actually meant this:

She lives within a capitalist framework. She's adapted to that capitalist framework and the only way she can improve her life's quality is through capitalist methods. If another system allowed her to satisfy her needs in a non-capitalist way and that system provided equal conditions for all workers I think she would be most happy.

SHe's a cappie. SOcialism means is you work longer you get more, not necessarily harder.

About China...well...perhaps they have never stopped becoming capitalist, but AT LEAST they can work together in times of hardship whenever the tough gets going.

That and if China were to slowly become true communist, while the people might be happy, the other countries governments WOULD NOT. And here comes the bombs. .__.

China however, STILL has a chance to achieve socialism. They need a load of time and money to do that. Marx said communism would happen in advanced capitalist countries. China just might be one of them.

To be honest, China has been hurt deeply by invasions from the West and whatnot, so OF COURSE they are scared of how the world should look at them. And seeing as the West really isn't too nice to outsiders...

Yeah...I am hopeful but it is still a long dream for China to change.

At least...the people know about it.
